That’s right, you’ve been waiting for it since last March, and it’s finally here: our new season of Sunday sailing and training is starting very soon.
The Victorian Sailing Awards have come and gone, and we are proud to announce the following award recipients. These recipients sail out of and are members of multiple clubs, including Royal Brighton Yacht Club. RBYC wishes to congratulate them on their win after all their hard work and dedication to sailing throughout the 2018-19 Season.
The Victorian Sailing Awards recognise the outstanding performances of sailors, volunteers, officials and clubs in Victoria for the 2018-19 Season. This year, Royal Brighton Yacht Club was awarded Yacht Club of the Year, the Sustainability Award and Sailor of the Year with a Disability.

The 2019 editions of the BLiSS regatta was held at RBYC on Sunday April 28, 2019. All of us at the Club were really pleased to see 24 boats on the water representing yacht clubs from all around the Bay.
RBYC has now created a digital catalogue of sailing trophies which is accessible from the RBYC website. This has made use of the resources available from Museums Victoria and provides the Club with a significant insight into its history as well as being a useful reference.
Another great Summer season is coming to an end for our amazing group of over 100 junior and youth sailors participating in RBYC Sunday program.
