RBYC’s April school holiday programs have wrapped up in style, with 62 sailors hitting the water across our Tackers and OutThere programs.
From first sails to building real confidence on the water, the energy and progression this season has been outstanding. It’s a huge credit to our instructors who continue to deliver a safe, fun and high-quality experience.
We’re looking forward to seeing these sailors back at the Club—progressing, racing and staying involved on the water.
RBYC’s Development sailors were also on the water, kicking off their programs with strong intent. While Week One saw lighter numbers due to Youth Sail commitments, those on the water made the most of the conditions with focused, high-quality sessions.
The group is already showing great progression, with an emphasis on boat handling, race skills and confidence in varied conditions. Again, this is a credit to our coaches and what they are bringing to the club.
With numbers set to build in the coming weeks from graduates of Tackers and OutThere 3 programs, our Junior/Youth squads are shaping up for a strong season ahead with Opti, Quest, 29er, ILCA and 420 training kicking off for term 2.
Keen to find out more and get involved contact the sailing office.
