Hi folks we’re now less than two weeks away from our fundraiser night on the 1st of March! The event will be hosted in the member’s bar from 6:30-8:30 with the members draw running as usual at 7pm. The proceeds from the night will be split equally between the sailors to help fund their overseas competitions!
Mark Turnbull (2000 Olympic Gold Medallist, in the 470) will say a few words about his journey to the Olympics, before leading a panel discussion with the athletes about their campaigns.
We have a range of exciting raffle prizes and silent auction items up for grabs at the event, most notable a pilot boat ride will be up for grabs in the silent auction, courtesy of Hart Marine. And a Tokyo 2020 Olympics singlet signed by Laser Champion Matt Wearn will also be available. As well as coaching experiences from the athletes, so you won’t want to miss it!
Other prizes will include vouchers for Gyms, Peninsula and Alba hot springs, Yoga classes, Shergolds Lane wine, Johnny Walker Blue label scotch, Pizza master classes, restaurant vouchers and more!
