Winter Solstice Swim and new Sign-on App for swimmers
At 6:00 pm on Friday 21 June, over 100 swimmers braved the cold water to have swim and go back to the club for a meal – a most enjoyable and well organised evening. You can get a good appreciation of the success of the event from Brooksy’s video.
The aquatic members in conjunction with the sailing office have launched a new “sign on” system via a mobile phone app to enhance overall safety and swimming information. Swimmers have been trialling the App over the last few weeks and the feedback has been incredibly positive.
