Team Brighton was very well represented at this year’s Hamilton Island Race Week. There were light to moderate breezes but the strong currents made for challenging sailing at times.
On the podium were RBYC’s Jamhu who came second in yellow division and former Commodore David Gotze on Triton who came first in the blue division.
Other Brighton boats included Keep on Running, Dreamtime Solutions, Cyan Moon and Rampallion.
The sailing was fun and the daily briefings were interesting featuring talented sailors and race officials. The camaraderie of Brighton members was evident on the water and catching up on the land.
