GUEST SPEAKER DINNER – Friday Feb 16th, 2024
In April 2023, RBYC yachts Aquacadabra, Chakana and Saffron left Melbourne to sail up the east coast of Australia, and then across the Coral Sea to New Caledonia. After spending 2 months cruising New Caledonian waters they joined a rally to Vanuatu where they climbed a volcano, spent time in villages and met the friendliest people. In October the boats headed back to Australia.
Sue and Rob Hurrell (Aquacadabra), Robina and Brenton Smith (Chakana) and Barbara Burns and Geoff Brewster (Saffron) will kick off our 2024 Guest Speaker Dinners by regaling you with their experiences from their 6 months afloat.

2024 BASS STRAIT CRUISE in Company:
The 2024 annual Bass Strait Cruise in Company is scheduled for the fortnight Sat 24th Feb to Mon 11th Mar, 2024. We currently have around half a dozen boats that have indicated that have expressed interest in participating. However, there is no “close off” date as such, and if anyone else might be interested in cruising in the company of these boats, please let Rob Hurrell ([email protected]) know.
