In January 2023 we are again hosting Sail Melbourne.
This is a major event on our sailing calendar. It brings in a lot of boats and competitors and we need to accommodate them on our club premises.
Boat Storage
We will be making use of the yard, under croft, Jock Sturrock building and car parking areas during the regatta to accommodate the competing vessels.
We kindly request that members who are currently storing an off-the-beach boat in the yard, under croft or Jock Sturrock building that are not competing in Sail Melbourne please have them vacated no later than 9th January 2023. Any vessels still here will be relocated by the club and may not be accessible during this regatta period.
Storage will be available again from the 19th of January
Hardstand & Marina
We will have the Para Classes operating from the Hardstand. To assist these sailors we ask that you do not berth any boats in the pond area. Access to the disabled crane area is required at any time.
Race Management boats from other clubs will be housed in pens. If you are vacating your pen over January would you please let Colin know via mailto:[email protected] as we may need temporary access.
Carparking
Access to all club car parking will be restricted from 9th January until 11th January.
No parking will be available from 13 – 19th January inclusive.
