RBYC youth sailor kicking goals

Wonderful news. Young Royal Brighton Yacht Club (RBYC) sailor Charlotte Wormald (Lottie) has now been selected to represent Australia at the 51 Youth World Sailing Championships in the Netherlands, this July.

The recent Victorian State Championships was the selection regatta for the Australian Sailing Youth Team and Charlotte won the Victorian State Youth Sailing Championships on the IQ Foil. Wind foiling is the new Olympic disciple which will first be tested at the Paris Olympics in Marseille 2024.

She is now back training hard 5-6 days a week and is looking forward to joining the other sailors in the Hague this year. As part of that trip she is also planning to attend the International IQ Foil Games in late July.

If you would like to support Charlotte in her endeavours that would be fantastic. Here is the link to her fundraising page or just contact the club.
