Origin of boat name
Built by Baron Yachts of Geelong for Alan and Peter Cain. Alan Cain had a long history of naming his yachts “Siena” after the Italian city of Siena located in central Italy’s Tuscany region.
Alan stayed in Siena prior to competing in the Dragon Sailing events for Australia in the 1960 Rome Summer Olympics. I am told this is why he named his yachts Siena
