Sailing on Moana with skippers Mark and Rocky this season has truly been a magical experience that perfectly captures the festive spirit of the holidays. As we set sail each Wednesday evening in many different weather conditions, reminding us of the beauty and joy that sailing brings.
Our recent triumph in the twilight racing was the icing on the cake. With the wind at our backs and the laughter of our crew filling the air, Mark and Rocky navigated the course with precision and skill. Also, John’s expert guidance combined with ladies’ infectious enthusiasm created an atmosphere of camaraderie and excitement. As we crossed the finish line, cheers erupted, and the sense of achievement was palpable. Winning the twilight series not only highlighted our teamwork but also the special memories we created together on the water.
Reflecting on this experience fills me with gratitude, especially during this festive season when we cherish connections with friends, old and new. The thrill of competition, combined with the serene beauty of twilight on the water, makes sailing an unforgettable experience.
Looking ahead, I eagerly anticipate more twilight races in 2026. I envision ourselves once again sailing through sunsets, the cool breeze on our faces, and the camaraderie that comes with each race.
