We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II last week. Queen Elizabeth II demonstrated integrity and dedication throughout her public life and 70-year reign.
The Royal Brighton Yacht Club Committee and Members join the people of Great Britain and Australia in mourning the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Club would like to extend its condolences to all members of the Royal Family at this sad time. Royal Brighton Yacht Club was bestowed the warrant by Her Majesty’s Grandfather King George V in 1924 and have been honoured to carry this title through Her Majesty’s reign.
As a mark of respect we have decided that RBYC will be closed on Thursday 22nd September. Australia’s National Day of Mourning.
