For our March Guest Speaker (Friday March 20th), we have SYC and QCYC member, Hugh Pilsworth who will present on his 2-year global circumnavigation in his Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49, BlueFlyer. Hugh will detail why he undertook this trip, and how he organised it (e.g., crewing, port visit arrangements, etc). Additionally, he will cover the boat and various modifications made to a production vessel to prepare for the voyage, along with what worked and what didn’t. Hugh wrote a book on the voyage and will have copies available to buy for those who are interested
