This week Brenton and Robina Smith on Chakana, and Craig Walton, Aldy Felix and Steve Dickson on Y-knot, are departing Brighton on the first stage of a cruise to South Australia, where they plan to spend time exploring Kangaroo Island, Port Lincoln and the islands of the Spencer Gulf, before eventually returning to Melbourne. We wish them fair winds and calm seas.

Our first Guest Speaker Dinner for 2026 will be on Friday 20th February, when we are delighted to have Rob Hurrell presenting on his experiences participating in the recently concluded 2025 Sail2Indonesia Rally on Aquacadabra . Several RBYC Cruising Group members joined Rob for various stages of the rally, so this promises to be a fascinating and entertaining evening.
