The Annual Progressive Dinner takes place this coming Friday evening, October 18th, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have kindly agreed to host a meal on their boat this Friday night. As this newsletter goes out, participants are in the process of being allocated to host boats over the evening.
Gather in the members bar around 6:30 for pre-dinner drinks. After the 7:00pm draw, participants will be allocated boats, and will then proceed down the pier to the marina for:
- Main Course on their first allocated boat, followed by,
- Dessert and Coffee/Tea on their second allocated boat, followed by,
- Port and Chocolates on one or more of the larger boats.
In November, Wayne and Allison Sollars have kindly agreed to tell us of their 10 year odyssey sailing Blue Heeler, their Hallberg-Rassy 39, around the world. (Friday November 15th)
An information evening for the 2025 Bass Strait Cruise (Sat Feb 22nd to Monday March 10th 2025) will be held on the evening of Friday December 6th 2024, in the RBYC Committee Room.
And to close the year out, we will be holding the annual Hardstand Christmas Party on Saturday 7th December.
