After a very well attended and entertaining September Guest Speaker Dinner with Gordon Symes, our 3rd Friday event in October (Friday the 18th) will be the annual Progressive Dinner.
ALL WELCOME, be you a boat owner or non-boat owner, a racer, cruiser, aquatic or social member. This is always an excellent evening to get to know other club members, as the dinners are in small groups that change between the main course boat and the dessert boat. Please let Jo Walker ( [email protected] ) know if you would like to come along.
Gather in the members bar around 6:30 for pre-dinner drinks. After the 7:00pm draw, we will then proceed down the pier to the marina for:
- Main Course on you first allocated boat, followed by,
- Dessert and Coffee/Tea on your second allocated boat, finishing with,
- Port and Chocolates on one or more of the larger boats.
This is always a popular and fun evening, however, the success of the event is highly dependent on having sufficient boats available to host the meal courses. Again, please let Jo Walker ([email protected]) know if you can volunteer to host either a main course or a dessert on your boat – or, indeed, if you aren’t able to host, you can make your boat available for someone else to host a course on.
