GM Report – July

We thought it would be timely to provide an update on the Forecourt Redevelopment project.

Long Contracting established their site office mid-May and are currently working through relocating services and demolition.

There is a long list of services that enter the building through this site. Many of these require lowering and others are redundant and are therefore being removed in the process.
The services are Fire Hydrant plumbing, Sewer, Gas. Water, Storm Water, Power, Telstra, Optus, TPG & NBN.

Work is continuing well, and members will see progress accelerate once the construction gets ‘out of the ground’.
We appreciate members patience with the reconfigured car parking arrangements and acknowledge that they are not ideal.
Please ensure that you swing wide from the upper carpark when coming down the ramp as it is a tight corner.

The committee approved a beautiful new Admiralty flagpole which will be positioned on the beach side of the club.
The existing flagpole will be moved to the new front entrance during the construction sequence.

There is lots of activity inside the club – next week we have the Wine Dinner and the members Cocktail Presentation Night.

Stay warm as the weather gets colder, we look forward to welcoming you to the club.

Regards

Philip Hall General Manager
