On Saturday the annual “flare shoot” for the first race of the ORCV winter series went well – but then the racing was challenging with very little wind. The race was started by RBYC and then finished at Sandringham. The club racing went ahead also, with light weather skills sorely tested. Well done to all RBYC boats who participated in both races. A special mention to Serious Yahoo who sailed exceptionally well in the ORCV race and to Mem for their win in the club Blizzard series.
