Seriously Rampallion

Over the weekend RBYC General Committee member Cath Hurley made the most of her part ownership of the Swarbrick S99 Rampallion, winning the Townsville Gals regatta. Cath had imported many of the Serious Yahoo crew to Queensland for the regatta, including experienced skipper Katie Holroyd and the owners of Serious, James Heywood and Vanessa Twigg, and well as regular crew Sue Neales. Sue Cockman and Niesje Hees completed the crew of 7. The conditions were glorious with winds ranging from 10- 16 knots on the first day, and lighter the second day. Townsville Yacht Club ensured the 81 crew competing on 11 boats had a wonderful time. We have a feeling Cath and crew will be back next year. Here is a link to the results
