Opening Day 2023 - 7th October

Put the 7th of October in your diary and come and celebrate the opening of the new season with fellow members. The theme is Back to the 80's so find your shoulder pads, bright clothing and leg warmers and enjoy the day. There will be a mid morning ceremony on the lawn followed by the Sail Past and then a casual race (for those that want to). Then it's back to the club for the food and fun on the lower deck. Dining Hours at RBYC Olympic Bar

After a brief change in hours for winter The Olympic Restaurant and Bar is back to being open for dinner from Wednesdays. Come and try our new menu and great weekly specials. The official hours are;
Mon & Tues 7am - 3pm | Wed -Thur 7am - 8.30 pm | Sat 7.30am - 8.30pm | Sun 7.30am - 5pm

Race Management Volunteer Information Session 21st September 6.30 pm

We are inviting all members to join the Race Management Volunteers information session. The evening will discuss the upcoming season and what we have planned. It is also a great way to find out more about the group and how to get involved. Meet current Race Management Volunteers and see the different roles we have. Remember you don't need any prior experience as full training will be provided.

New Battery Bin on Hardstand

As mentioned in the GM report, we are currently going through the process to become a Clean Marina. Part of this is looking how we deal with waste. We are in the process of tidying up the atrea in front of the toilet black. The first step was to purchase a new battery waste bin. This is now on the hardstand. Please ensure that only batteries go in this and the lid is closed at all times.

Hi everyone,
Greetings from Four Mile Lake, located in 'cottage country' in Ontario's Kawartha Lakes region. It's been a pleasant late summer weekend up here, with great swimming & kayaking conditions (photo below).
On the field: last Friday night Essendon suffered another heavy defeat, losing by 70 points to Collingwood. The Magpies' victory means that they are this year's minor premiers and will have home ground advantage throughout the finals.
