Cruising News

Annual CHRISTMAS HARDSTAND PARTY (9th Dec):

Owing to last Saturday being a wet and blustery day, the Cruising Group’s annual Christmas “Hardstand” Party was relocated from hardstand to the shelter of the Jock Sturrock Centre. While the inclement weather meant that numbers were down, a hardy core of Cruisers turned up in their Christmas finery to celebrate the year gone by, to tell tall tales and to discuss plans for 2024. With the BBQ fired up outside, mostly out of the rain, there was a lively discussion of the various merits of peoples cooking choices before retreating back under cover to eat, talk and celebrate. All agreed that it was a very enjoyable evening in a more than adequate plan “B” location.
Our thanks to Club management and staff for making the Jock Sturrock Centre available when the forecast turned dodgy, and for moving tables and chairs in there for us to use.
