Wednesday Sailing - Afternoon & Twilight

This is always a great time on and off the water, and for those that are looking for a more social and relaxed style of sailing then this is for you.
Wednesday sailing offers 3 opportunities to get involved
1: Afternoon Racing 1300: This is the Hearnes Heros Series. Alternating weeks of a Fleet or Pursuit Start . A small fleet which is always looking to grow it is a great way to train your crew.
2: Twilight Fleet Start 1800: Looking for a bit more competitive action at twilight sailing. These races allow owners to use there Spinnakers and tussle on the start line
3: Twilight Pursuit from 1815: A white sail only race (non Spinnaker) It's a great way to get on the water with friends and family and enjoy your boats (and you never know you might pick up a prize on the day) without the pressure of a busy start line.
Wednesday sailing is also a great way for the club to show itself off to potential new members so if you have spots for SailPass people and can take them out sailing then please let the sailing office know.
The restaurant will be taking orders up to 9pm so bring your crew in after racing and continue the fun.

How do I find Crew

The best way is to use the Crew Matching system that is in the Sign On App. Here you can list your boat as looking for crew, this way people can call you directly and discuss. You can also use the List Available Crew button to see is looking to crew. This tells you about them and their sailing background. You can then reach out to them directly.
Please remember that sometimes the best crew often have little or no experience, don't be afraid to take them on and show them the ropes.
You can also contact the sailing office and let them know that you are able to take crew. We will do our best to find a sailor for you.
