How to dock your boat in the marina

With the busy sailing season coming to an end, many boats will now be spending a lot of time in their marina pens and owners away. It's a good time to remind all owners to ensure that your vessels are correctly moored. Key things to look at. Ropes: Correct number, type & size and in good condition. Fenders: ample on all sides and secured correctly so as not to fall off. Power Leads: Not in the water. Please use the below link to read full details of How to Dock at RBYC

BLiSS Experience 21st & 28th April

RBYC and BLiSS with generous support from AMS are offering a fantastic opportunity for female sailors to get some extra coaching in keelboat racing. The day consists of on and off water coaching from experienced coaches, giving you the opportunity to find out more about racing in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cost for this is $50 and includes a light lunch and will be run on the 21st and the 28th . Places are very limited and will be allocated on a first in basis.
The KISS Committee is excited to announce the third running of the Keelboat Introduction to Sailing Savvy (KISS) program for 2024, a program open to all Victorian women and we are now open for business! The vision of the program founder, Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club’s Immediate Past Commodore Lee Renfree in partnership with Ocean Racing Club of Victoria has now graduated 52 women over two years, empowering them to transition from “passengers” to active, confident “participants”. So if you are female and keen to gain skills on keelboats, jump on board now!
