One Design News

One Design Fleets enjoy summer sailing
All One Design fleets enjoyed the challenge of the shifty breeze last Saturday (2.4s, Dragons, VXOnes and Etchells).
Many are getting ready to travel with several Etchells heading to Geelong for the Australasian Summer Championship (John Bertrand’s boat Triad is pictured ready to go), and four of the VXOnes heading to Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron for the Nationals.
At RBYC we are looking forward to the 2026 Etchells Vic States. Online entry is now open.

Other Club News

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful year ahead filled with safe sailing and great times!

It is a true privilege to be able to bring some joy to our heroes, the healthcare and emergency services communities. It is their courage that we celebrate, their compassion that we help to recharge and their commitment that we try to support through Sailing Lifts Your Spirits events here at RBYC. The gratitude we receive in return is really humbling.

The start to our season was a little challenging with more wind than we wanted, however we have had 3 fantastic events so far and look forward to many more in the new year!

Come sail with us! If you want to join our wonderful team of volunteers, and help say thanks, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s make their New Year unforgettable!
