150 Anniversary book has arrived!

We are thrilled that the book has now arrived and is now available for purchase from reception at a cost of just $60.
For 150 years, our club has been more than just a place to sail – it’s been a home for generations of members, a hub of friendship, and a witness to countless unforgettable moments.
To honour this incredible milestone, club members Don Warner and John Scanlon have spent the past three years creating a truly special commemorative book. Through hundreds of interviews, pages of documents, and treasured photographs, they’ve captured the spirit and story of our club like never before.
Author Don Warner and Commodore Peter Demura will be available for the official launch and book signing on 21 November from 6:00 pm up to the members draw at 7:00 pm.

30th Anniversary of 2.4 Mtr Australian Titles to be held at RBYC 23-27 January 2027
The 2.4 mR fleet at RBYC is very honoured to be holding the 30th Anniversary of the Australian Nationals. While January 2027 may seem a long way off, it’s not too early to start the planning. RBYC is well experienced in holding regattas, but each class has its own requirements which include measurement in accordance with class rules, safety protocols, class specific entry requirements, media & marketing and logistics. This is all done in conjunction with the Class Association, the Fleet and the Club. In the meantime, you’ll see the 2.4mR sailors taking full advantage of regular club racing and other regattas, including Sail Melbourne in late November.
