Online Calendar

A reminder that the Calendar on the website is live and can be uploaded to your own Google Calendar. There is a calendar for each fleet and a Club calendar for common events and off water events. We suggest that you download the Club and your Fleet calendars. As the website calendar is a google calendar any changes made will be updated at your end (no need to re upload). We are looking at ways for upload to other calendars such as Outlook.

Special Edition RRS

We have a limited number of RBYC special edition RRS 2025-2028 for purchase. These are RBYC branded and fully laminated and waterproof so perfect for sailing.
They can be purchased from the Sailing Office at the price of $40 each. Stock is limited.
Wednesday: Keelboat Afternoon and Twilight Racing | Thursday: OTB Twilight Racing
Saturday: Keelboat & One Design Racing | Sunday: OTB Racing.
Start times for Keelboat twilight races are published at 4.30 pm. Boats not already entered but want to race MUST sign on or enter before 4.30pm so we can properly calculate start times for the fleet. Sign on after 4.30pm and you will be allocated a arbitrary time for that race. Please get in early.

50th Anniversary HMAS Goorangai and Eliza Ramsden Memorial Trophy Race
Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club’s annual Goorangai Memorial passage race turns “50” this year with its female helm division the Eliza Ramsden Trophy running for its second year, leading off the Club’s 63rd sailing season on Saturday 1 November 2025. All keelboat owners are invited to join us for the 26nm race south from RBYC to QCYC to enjoy the paradise of QCYC on Swan Island over the Melbourne Cup weekend.

Artist in Residence – Julian Twigg

As the weather improves you may see Julian Twigg painting or drawing on the marina or hardstand. Julian is an established artist who has a fascination with the sea and maritime subject matter including ships and other seagoing vessels. Julian has held over 20 solo shows and is working towards his next exhibit at Australian Galleries Melbourne (Collingwood) at the end of April 2026, creating a body of work from residency to be included as part of the forthcoming show. A sample of Julian’s work can be seen on his website Julian Twigg - HOME. We welcome Julian to the club.
