Racing Sign Off Changes - All Fleets

The Sailing Committee passed a motion that from the start of the new season(25/26) ALL boats are required to sign OFF after racing. Failure to do so will incur a scoring penalty. This will be added to the 25/26 season SI's. We are asking skippers to start doing this as of now to get use to it. We have also added a new sign off feature that will allow another parties to sign off boats if required.

Powerboat Expression of Interest

As part of the 150 Year Regatta we are looking at including a Powerboat Nav Rally on Saturday 29th. This will be run by the Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron (BMYS) and is a great day on the water. If you would be keen to get involved can you please email Colin at [email protected]. Also the BMYS is running a Nav Rally Training evening that RBYC members are welcome to attend on the 5th March so you can see what's involved. Details can be found HERE

2025 Oceania & Australian Masters 21-24 Feb

RBYC had a great showing at the AUS ILCA masters nationals with Mat Blakey winning the 7 fleet overall and the master division. Steve Gunther was 2nd GGM in the 7 fleet. Stu Wallace was 2nd GM just 2 points out of first. Damon was 8th, Brendon (with virtually zero practice) was 9th. James won the GGM, I got 2nd and Rob got 9th.
Really great showing by the club with 11 sailors representing our fleet. RESULTS
