Race Management Volunteers Needed
|
|
The club is looking invite its members to join the race management team. Our busy schedule means there is a lot of opportunities to help out, but we are really looking for people to join on regular basis. There are many roles to be filled from Race Officers, Mark Layers, Start boat team, Rhib drivers and crew and Tower. Our racing is Wednesday(afternoon and evening), Saturday and Sunday (afternoons) and of course regattas. Full training is provided and all levels of experience are welcome. Please contact Colin at the Sailing office.

Saturday 8th is the first of the Victorian Championships (Old Range Series) RBYC DIV 1 race in VC DIV 1 , RBYC DIV 2 race in VC DIV 3. This date will be hosted by SYC. Entry must be done via the below link.

RBYC 2.4 Fleet enjoys Nationals at Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club
|

Eight races were sailed out of the Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club for the National Championship, and there are some terrific photos on the facebook page.
|
|
RBYC boats came 2nd (John Collingwood), 3rd (Peter Coleman) and 4th (Glenn Ferguson) and RBYC was well represented through the rest of the fleet also. Here is a link to the full results.
