Vehicle Access to the Club

Vehicle entry and exit to the club is now back to normal. Vehicles enter via boom gate near council car park and down the ramp. Exiting the club is via boom gate leading onto The Esplanade NOT via the ramp next to Sturrock building. Pedestrian access is now open at the front of the club.

Monday Working Group
|
The Monday Working Group was back on the paintbrushes yesterday refurbishing the outdoor furniture on the Members’ Bar deck. This week, GC members Greg Clinnick and Debbie Jonker were joined by Julie McKay and 60-year member Clive Rumberg to finish off the tables with the next stage being the chairs. Pommery Champagne have kindly donated a set of new sun umbrellas that will soon be installed once the new bases arrive.

At this stage, the group meet on Monday mornings as it’s normally the quietest period at the Club and this avoids any inconvenience to members and guests. We realise this doesn’t suit many people who work but once the current schedule of works is complete, we can revisit the timing.
|
|
Over coming weeks, we will focus on a number of projects on the outside decks. If you’d like to join us, we meet at 10.00am each Monday on the lower deck.
