Opening Day sustainable costume ideas – Under the Sea
Many members have been talking about how to make their Opening Day Costumes more sustainable by using what they already have around the house (rather than buying more stuff), Those who frequent a lot of fancy-dress parties may have suitable items they have acquired over the years.. I’m sure many of us have wetsuits, googles, snorkels – and your mop might make a good algae headpiece!
Looking forward to a great day on and off the water – don’t forget to register!

Gus McIntyre – Youth Sailor of the Year

One of the great things about hanging around yacht clubs is that you see many famous faces and the RBYC yard is no different. One face you may have seen out training on weekday evenings, as well as taking part in OTB events at the club, is now Australian Sailing’s Youth Sailor of the year. We congratulate Gus McIntyre on this achievement. Gus has had many successes over the past few years in Sabres and ILCAs and has been nominated for this award before. This year Gus was the first youth sailor since 1993 to win the Australian Sabre Championship. We wish Gus a terrific sailing season ahead!

Keelboat Race Entry 2024-2025

The results system has now been setup for all races up to the end of 2024 and it is now time for boat owners to enter the series in which they wish to compete. In particular it is important that owners enter any pursuit races or series so that we can allocate start times in advance. And please only enter the series that you do intend to sail so that our results accurately reflect the entries for the series.
You can enter club races either from the club’s phone app, or on your PC.
