Day 3 began with the usual great enthusiasm. The morning presented itself to the teams with winds from the south east, ranging from 5 to 10 knots intensity in a rather fluky way, with many wind shifts
During heat 4 the lead changed many times and good spinnaker work was seen from all crews. In heat 5, Raffle RBYC 1003 Angus Mahoney placed 3rd on the finish line.
The afternoon brought very light conditions 0-5 knots with smoke haze and mist. Race 6 was a very close one, with many lead changes at each mark. Raffle RBYC 1003 Angus Mahoney got 2nd.
Tonight all sailors are now having a good night out at RSL enjoying great food and company, (see below) as well as bit of Elvis!
